MP CM Chouhan distributes bonus of Rs 78 crore to Tendupatta collectors
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan distributed a bonus amount of Rs 78 crore to Tendupatta collectors of primary minor forest produce cooperative society of 13 forest divisions in the training-cum-awareness programme for capacity enhancement of minor forest produce cooperative society in Lakhnadon.
Along with this, 48 development works costing Rs 298 crore 49 lakh of various departments were dedicated and the bhoomi-pujan was performed. Chouhan also launched the Mahua Prash produced by the Small Forest Produce Association.
Chouhan said that the government will leave no stone unturned in bringing about a bring change in the lives of tribal brethren who are dependent on forest produce. The state government is making continuous efforts to bring about a positive change in the lives of the tribals.
Ladli Bahna Yojana will prove to be a social revolution
Chouhan gave information about the ambitious “Laadli Bahna Yojana” initiated for the empowerment of women. He said that he is launching this scheme as a gift for the women. An amount of Rs. one thousand will be deposited in the accounts of the women every month under the scheme. This yojana endeavours to financially empower women and make them self-reliant. If the women are empowered, the family will be empowered. The state and the country will be empowered by the society and the society by the family.
Chouhan said that Ladli Bahna Yojana will be launched on March 5 in a state-level event. So that the women do not have to wander for the application of the scheme, forms will be taken by setting up camps in the villages in the months of March and April. After this, the list will be released after testing in the month of May and from June 10th the amount will start coming into the accounts of the women.
Chouhan gave approval to the Harrai Bijna Micro Irrigation Scheme. He announced the approval of other important projects for the development of the district, including construction of a sports ground in Lakhnadon. The Chief Minister said that an amount of Rs 2 crore each will be given to all urban bodies for development works.
All liquor vends will be shutdown, no liquor shops will be allowed within 100 meters from a temple, school-college premises
Giving information about the provisions made in the new excise policy, Chouhan said that in order to end social evil like alcoholism, the state government has decided that from April 1st , all the liquor vends in the state will be closed. Also, no liquor shop will be opened within 100 meters distance from the temple, school, college premises.
PESA Act will protect the interests of tribals
Chouhan said that with the implementation of the PESA Act in the notified areas, tribal brothers and sisters will be greatly facilitated. PESA Act has been implemented to protect their interests. Now the gram sabhas will take care of the responsibility of plucking of tendu patta. Tendu patta collectors will be given training for this work and their wages will be given by the state government. Tribal brothers and sisters will have the freedom to collect forest produce like Harra, Baheda, Salbeej, Amla etc. and sell these products. With this the money of the village will come to the village itself. Village Peace Redressal Committee will be formed to solve mutual disputes, which will be on the concept of Panch-Parameshwar. He said that conspiracy no will be allowed to convert people of the tribal class by luring them. This vicious cycle of conversion will not work on the soil of Madhya Pradesh.
Recruitment soon on more than one lakh posts
Chouhan said that recruitment is being done on more than 1 lakh 14 thousand government posts by the state government. Many self-employment oriented schemes are being implemented to connect the youth with self-employment. He said that it is the priority of the government that the sisters of the livelihood mission should be financially empowered and prosperity may come in their lives.
Government will pay the full interest of farmers’ loans
Chouhan said that the government will pay the entire interest of farmers who have defaulted due to non-payment of loans and farmers will be given loans without interest. CM Shri Chouhan said that all the schemes closed by the previous government have been started again. Under the ambitious Mukhya Mantri Teerth Darshan Yojana of the government, elderly people will now be taken for pilgrimage on aeroplanes.
Landless will get residential land lease
Chouhan said that no person will remain without residential land in Madhya Pradesh. Everyone will be given leases of residential land under the Mukhya Mantri Bhu-Awasiya Adhikar Yojana.
Benefits distributed to beneficiaries
Chouhan distributed benefits to the beneficiaries of various schemes. Along with distribution of bonus amount to Tendu Patta collectors, he distributed the benefits of subsidy amount of the Prime Minister Employment Generation Programme, Mukhya Mantri Udyam Kranti Yojana, certificates of Ladli Laxmi girls, women self-help groups of Aajeevika Mission.
Union Minister of State for Steel and Rural Development Faggan Singh Kulaste, State Forest Minister Dr. Kunwar Vijay Shah also addressed. Member of Parliament Dhalsingh Bisen, Chairman of Tourism Board Vinod Gontia along with MLAs, public representatives and a large number of women and citizens were present.
