Congress Responsible for Karnataka Crisis: BJP

With no let up in the dissidence threatening the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state government in Karnataka, a top party leader has blamed the Congress for the crisis.

“Congress is definitely responsible for the crisis,” Times Now TV reported top BJP leader Murli Manohar Joshi as saying in an exclusive interview.

Joshi’s comments came hours after Arun Jaitley wrapped up a fire-fighting visit to the state.

The BJP has now summoned the warring factions to Delhi on Saturday, but ruled out any change in the leadership of Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa.
