BJP Delegation Calls on PM over Price Rise

Stepping up pressure on the Centre over price rise, a high profile BJP delegation led by senior leader LK Advani and party president Nitin Gadkari called on Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Wednesday, reported NDTV.

Report said that the BJP was all set to initiate protest against skyrocketing prices of essential commodities, with its question to the government being – “Why can’t an economist PM check prices?”

The delegation that met Manmohan Singh today included senior leaders like Sushma Swaraj, Arun Jaitley and other senior functionaries.
