Bhopal- Hoshangabad has topped in procuring wheat

BHOPAL: Bhopal-Hoshangabad division has topped in procuring one lakh 64 thousand 115 metric tonnes of wheat. The process of wheat procurement has gathered momentum now in Madhya Pradesh and so far about 4 lakh 12 thousand 533 metric tonnes of the food grain have been procured.

Also Indore (one lakh 42 thousand 932 MT), Ujjain (92 thousand 485 MT), Gwalior (5525 MT), Sagar (1100 MT and Jabalpur (6376 MT).

From 15th of March wheat procurement has been started in Madhya Pradesh this year. During this period, the state Civil Supplies Corporation has procured two lakh 42 thousand metric 966 tonnes while the state Cooperative Marketing Federation has procured one lakh 69 thousand 567 metric tonnes of wheat.

Side by side of procurement lifting of stock also going on, the process of storing wheat is also going on. The procurement agencies have so far lifted about two lakh 67 thousand 772 metric tonnes of procured wheat.
