AI Firms-up Security

In wake of recent terror attacks in Afghanistan targeting Indians, Air India has firmed up security procedures for its flights operating the Kabul sector, say media reports.

According to a PTI report citing sources in the national carrier, a two-tier security mechanism has been put in place which carries out extensive check of all the baggage loaded into the aircraft.

Air India, one of the few international airlines flying to Kabul, operates six flights a week to the Afghan capital.
