Rajasthan Royals succeeded to be in the list of top four

PUNE: Watson won it for Rajasthan. The former hero of Rajasthan once again returns to its old self and guide his team to a thumping win against Pune Warriors.

Rajasthan is chasing a very small total of 126 runs. Watson scored 90 runs out o ft he total of 126 runs speaks the contribution of him in the victory. He took just 51 balls and smashed 10 fours and 4 sixes. He got very little support from Dravid and Menaria.

Earlier, Pune chose to bat on a slower track. They opened with Clarke and Ganguly. Both of them gave a very slow start to the team on a slow track.

Every batsman got a start but nobody able to convert it into a big innings. Only Majumdar was able to made 30 runs. Tait bowled beautifully and pick 3 wickets.

Watson is the Man of the Match. “The wicket was a bit slow, I suppose it was my night tonight. I just back myself, I have a clear mind and try to hit straight. Initially, I was thinking of getting ahead of the rate so that it would get easy in the middle of the innings. My first game I was a bit rusty after Test cricket, but it was better after a couple of practice sessions.”
