‘Paan Singh Tomar’ did great business in its first week

MUMBAI: Paan Singh Tomar made a steady start and earned Rs 4.25 crore. It had received rave reviews from all quarters initially but made a decent start in its opening weekend. This film is made on low budget of Rs 4.5 crore. It had earned Rs. 80 lakh on Friday, and the collections increase to Rs1 crore on Saturday and Rs 2 crore on Sunday, according to trade analyst Taran Adarsh.

The film showed the real life story of a National level athlete Paan Singh Tomar who went on to become dreaded dacoits of Chambal valley. The film is distributed by UTV Motion Pictures and UTV Spotboy Motion Pictures.
