CM inaugurates and lays foundation stones for 39 works costing about Rs. 26 crore in Chhindwara district

Bhopal: During his 2-day visit of Chhindwara district, Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan inaugurated and laid foundation stones for 39 construction works costing Rs. 25 crore 86 lakh 41 thousand at Saunsar and Pandhurna today. These include foundation stone-laying of 33 works costing Rs. 23 crore 81 lakh 50 thousand and inaugurated 6 construction works including building of public service centre, bridge, school, hostel, additional room and Anganwadi works costing Rs. 2 crore 4 lakh 91 thousand.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan laid foundation stones for construction of building of public service centres costing Rs. 17 lakh 51 thousand each for Mohkhed, Saunsar and Pandhurna and inaugurate a bridge costing Rs. 7 crore 79 lakh 52 thousand over Kanhan river between villages Sayara-Partapur in Saunsar tahsil under Bridge under the Sub-Division of Public Works Department, Rs. 4 crore 19 lakh 45 thousand bridge over Ambaghat nullah between Saunsar-Rajna, Rs. one crore 35 lakh 72 thousand bridge over Jam river between Rajhadipeepla-Kondhar and Rs. 3 crore 16 lakh high-level bridge over Vardha river between Pandhurna-Amravati in Pandhurna tahsil.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan inaugurated new building of high school costing Rs. 56 lakh at village Marram in Saunsar tahsil, newly constructed building of workshop and theory class for 3 additional trades through pre-fab technique at Pandhurna tahsil headquarters and laid foundation stones for upgradation work of government high schools buildings at village Jam, Ghotki, Kabarpipla and Amla each costing Rs. 34 lakh 26 thousand on primary health centres costing Rs. 95 lakh each at villages Rangari, Sanwga and Lohangi and building of scheduled caste girls pre-matric hostel.
Under Sarv Shiksha Abhiyan, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan inaugurated newly constructed additional rooms costing Rs. 2 lakh 93 thousand at government middle school at village Sanwga in Saunsar development block and Rs. 2 lakh 57 thousand main reading room, Rs. 10 lakh 8 thousand government primary school building at village Dholankhapa in Pandhurna and Rs. 8 lakh 33 thousand government primary school building at village Doodha and laid foundation stones for Anganwadi buildings under Women and Child Development Department. These included buildings costing Rs. 4 lakh 88 thousand each in 15 villages of Saunsar and Pandhurna development blocks, Rs. 4 lakh 95 thousand each at villages Dhokadoh and Sitapar of Saunsar development block and an Anganwadi building costing Rs. 9 lakh 90 thousand at village Chhindewani.
