Govt. Policies bring smile on Farmer’s face

Bhopal. This year’s Record quantity of wheat is the result of farmer-friendly policies of the State Government. Government policy has benefitted farmers a lot. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said. He was addressing a farmers’ convention at village Barkhera Hasan in Sehore district on Wednesday. He said that the state will become prosperous with the progress of farmers. At the convention, savings certificates were distributed to girls under Ladli Laxmi Yojna. The Chief Minister also gave sanction to open a college at Barkhera Hasan from the next academic session.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that the State Government is working with full commitment to make available better prices to farmers for their produce and making agriculture a profitable occupation by increasing facilities of power and water. The State Government procured wheat from farmers at Rs. 1385 per quintal, which includes Rs. 100 per quintal bonus given by Madhya Pradesh Government. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan threw light on importance of daughters. He said that world is lonely without daughters. It is the responsibility of every citizen to come forward to protect honour and dignity of daughters. He said that Beti Bachao Abhiyan has been launched with a view to eradicating discrimination between sons and daughters. In the larger interests of daughters, the State Government is implementing Mukhyamantri Kanyadan Yojna, Mukhyamantri Nikah Yojna, Ladli Laxmi Yojna, Gaon Ki Beti Yojna and several other schemes.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan also gave sanction to construct various rural roads in the area under Mukhyamantri Grameen Sadak Yojna. He instructed officers to conduct a fresh survey of Naihedi Reservoir. The Chief Minister also gave assurance to citizens about construction of stop-dam and other development works and upgradation of schools. Local MLA Shri Ramesh Saxena also addressed the convention.

Tribal Welfare Minister and in-charge of Sehore district Kunwar Vijay Shah, MARKFED Chairman Shri Ramakant Bhargava, Zila Panchayat Chairman Shri Dharmendra Singh Chauhan, MLA Shri Ranjeet Singh Gunwan and large number of people’s representatives were also present on the occasion.
