Earthquake rocked Chile, No damage
SANTIAGO (Chile): No damage or injuries have been reported when a 5.1-magnitude quake has shaken awake residents of Chile’s capital.
The earthquake occurred Saturday at 4:28 am local time according to the US Geological Survey reports that and was centered in the Chile’s metropolitan region, at a depth of 66.7 kilometers (about 40 miles).
The University of Chile’s seismological service measured the quake with a 5.3 magnitude. No injuries or damage have been reported, and basic services have not been affected says the Chilean government’s National Emergency Office.
