31 peoples were killed in Siberia Plane Crash

MOSCOW: 31 peoples were killed when a passenger plane crashed in Siberia shortly after taking off on Monday morning, said Russian emergency officials. The 12 persons survived were hospitalized in critical condition.

The plane ATR-72 operated by UTair was flying from Tyumen to the Surgut with 39 passengers and four crew and went down on a snowy field outside Tyumen, a major regional center in Siberia about 1,700 kilometers (1,000 miles) east of Moscow.

The cause of the crash is still not clear. None of the passengers was a foreigner.
