MP Govt. has taken employee friendly decison : Kanhaiyalal Agarwal

Bhopal : ‘Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has launched several schemes for the welfare of girls, women, labourers, poor, farmers, businesspersons, advocates, senior citizens etc keeping every person’s welfare and state’s development in view. Schemes for infrastructure development, energy, agriculture, irrigation etc. have been accelerated for state’s development. Despite limited resources, the State Government has taken several employee-friendly decisions.’ This was said by Minister of State for General Administration Shri Kanhaiyalal Agrawal at the 42nd annual regional convention of Madhya Pradesh Diploma Engineers Association here today. The function was presided over by National and State President of Diploma Engineers Association engineer Rajendra Singh Bhadoria. Madhya Pradesh State Employees’ Welfare Committee president Shri Basant Purohit Shri D.R. Kashyap and National General Secretary of Diploma Engineers’ Association Shri R.C. Shrivastava were special guests on the occasion.

Minister of State Shri Agrawal said that Chief Minister Shri Chouhan’s outlook has always been positive towards employees. He has taken several decisions in favour of employees despite limited resources. The government has recently increased home, travel, transport and other allowances of employees on the recommendation of State Pay Commission. He wishes to empower engineers. For this, engineers will have to update their knowledge and also pay attention to quality of construction works. Shri Agrawal said that he will apprise the Chief Minister about diploma engineers’ demands.

Engineer Shri Bhadoria expressed gratitude towards the State Government for increasing various allowances and giving instalment of dearness allowance to employees. He also demand to make diploma engineers’ grade-pay honorable and redress problems faced by daily wagers and work-charge employees.

Shri Basant Purohit, Shri D.N. Neekhra, Shri Surendra Karanjgaonkar, Shri D.R. Kashyap, Shri Ramesh Sharma and Shri R.C. Shrivastava also addressed the function.

Shri Arun Dwivedi, Shri G.P.S. Chauhan, Shri Hari Singh Yadav, association’s office-bearers and members were also present on the occasion.
