Public reception accorded to Shri Narayan Kesari
Bhopal. Bihar’s Governor Shri Ramnath Kovind and Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan accorded public reception to former Rajya Sabha member and veteran scheduled caste leader Shri Narayan Singh Kesari in recognition of his 65 years’ public service. at the function at Ravindra Bhavan here today, the Chief Minister welcomed Shri Kesari by tying turban on his head.
Bihar’s Governor Shri Ramnath Kovind said that Shri Kesari’s dedication, honesty and commitment are laudable. He felicitated Shri Kesari on behalf of Bihar’s people. Shri Kovind said that Shri Kesari never compromised with his ideology. He said that live of Shri Kesari is a source of inspiration for thousands of workers. His biography should be written. Shri Kovind presented a miniature image of Lord Buddha to Shri Kesari.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that Shri Kesari started his political career with foundation of Jan Sangh and struggled throughout his life. He is an able administrator and staunch nationalist thinker. Describing Shri Kesari as a combatant against injustice, Shri Chouhan said that he is not leader of mere one community, but accepted by all in Madhya Pradesh. Shri Kesari has become extraordinary due to dedication. He never neglected dedication. He is always full of enthusiasm. Wishing Shri Kesari an illustrious and healthy life, Shri Chouhan said that society needs his guidance.
Shri Kesari said that his felicitation is the felicitation of an ordinary worker. He said that workers should never be neglected. Neglect is painful. It breaks workers. Describing Shri Chouhan as a novel Chief Minister, he said that people want that he continues as the Chief Minister and serve the state.
BJP Scheduled Castes Morcha’s National President Shri Dushyant Kumar Gautam said that Shri Kesari has lived life of a hermit. He has worked in adverse conditions. He is a 92 years old youth.
Minister of State for GAD Shri Lal Singh Arya read out letter of citation. Shri Kesari was felicitated by offering him a grand garland. Vice Chairman of State Planning Commission Shri Babulal Jain, MLAs Shri Pradeep Laria, Shri Surendranath Singh, Shri Vishnu Khatri, President AJAKS Shri J.N. Kansotiya and large number of workers were present on the occasion. Organising Committee’s President Shri Gangaram Ghosle proposed a vote of thanks.
