Voters can see voters lists, polling booths through Google

Bhopal: Voters can see photo electoral rolls-2013 of all the polling booths in Madhya Pradesh through Google Map. The electoral rolls have been uploaded on Google Map.
The Election Commission of India has provided this new facility on its website http://www.eci.nic.in/. All the polling booths of New Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, Gujarat, Dadar & Nagar Haveli, Daman & Diu, Sikkim, Meghalaya, Tripura, Puducherry, Sikkim and Madhya Pradesh can be seen on Google Map. Any individual can see it.
A link titled “Information Linked to Polling Station Maps” has been provided on the Election Commission’s website. On clicking it, a person can visit the respective page of concerning state. Page of desired map will open on clicking the tab for state where buttons are available for districts, Vidhan Sabha constituencies, and polling centres information regarding which can be seen by clicking concerning button. Special area of polling booth can be enlarged through zoom facility. Users can also see polling centre’s main building, road etc.
Map of concerning polling booth can be seen through Dropdown Pin. After selection of Pin, balloon is opened through it where names and mobile numbers Chief Electoral Officer, District Electoral Officer, Electoral Registration Officer and Booth Level Officer can be seen. A link for electoral roll has been provided other there. By clicking it, one can seen the electoral roll in PDG format. A voter can save it on his or her computer. It can also be printed. The commission has hoped that this facility will prove useful for voters as well as political parties for smooth and constant participation in the election process.
