State to be pioneer in science and technology: Governor

Bhopal: Officers of the Defence Ministry and a study team of foreigner army officers paid a courtesy call to Governor Shri Ram Naresh Yadav at Raj Bhavan today. During discussion, Governor Shri Yadav informed the study team that efforts have been made in the state to ensure maximum tapping of resources through public-private partnership, joint sector and public sector undertakings. Officers of the Defence Ministry, army officers from America, Germany, Australia, England and Afghanistan comprised the team which arrived here to study possibilities of development and progress in finance, science and technology sectors.

The Governor said that the way state’s youths are marching ahead in science and technology sector, it is expected that the state will emerge as pioneer in it. Madhya Pradesh’s youths are brightening name of state and country abroad. The Governor said that Madhya Pradesh is progressing fast on the path of economic growth. The state holds immense potential in agriculture sector. Principal Secretary to Governor Shri Vinod Semwal, Dr. Khya Bhattacharya, Shri Sandeep Biswar and Brigadier A.V. Ramesh were also present on the occasion.
