Bhopal Residents Will Get Narmada Water by November: Gaur

Urban Administration and Development Minister Babulal Gaur has said that residents of Bhopal will get Narmada Water in the month of November this year through Narmada Water Supply Project, said an official release.

The minister directed the officers associated with the project that efforts should be made so that residents could get Narmada water on the establishment day of Madhya Pradesh, November 1. The officers had fixed the date earlier as November 30.

Gaur issued above instructions at a review meeting of development works of Bhopal held at the conference hall of urban administration department.

In the meeting, a decision was taken to plant ten thousands saplings at different government office premises during the rainy season.

The colonizers and builders have also been appealed to plant saplings at the vacant places in their residential colonies.

Secretary Urban Administration and Development Department SPS Parihar, Bhopal Divisional Commissioner Manoj Shrivastava, Chief Engineer of Public Works Department Shailendra Shukla, Narmada Water Supply Project Chief Engineer AK Payasi, Bhopal Municipal Corporation Commissioner Manish Singh and senior officers of other departments were present in the meeting.
