Tailoring Skill Board to be constituted: CM
Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that Madhya Pradesh Tailoring Skill Board will be constituted for financial upliftment of families associated traditionally with sewing craft. The board will chalk out welfare schemes for tailor community and take suitable steps to solve various issues and difficulties pertaining to tailoring occupation. Chairperson of Tailoring Skill Board will be selected from the community. Shri Chouhan was addressing a delegation of Darzi Mahasabha here today.
On the occasion, Karchha Darzi Samiti’s President Shri Ramchandra Mehta and Akhil Bharatiya Darzi Mahasabha’s President Shri Narayan Patel, felicitated the Chief Minister by offering a turban and shawl to him.
The Chief Minister said that tailoring occupation’s traditional style is changing into modern one. There are some challenges in joining this occupation. He said that it will be considered to extend loan for business, opening shop and making market available. The proposed board will chalk out action plans necessary for this.
Representatives of Darzi Mahasabha, Forest Development Corporation’s Chairman Shri Guru Prasad Sharma, Warehousing Corporation’s Chairman Shri Rajendra Rajput, Shri Raghunandan Bhati and large number of office-bearers of various units of Darzi Mahasabha were present on the occasion.
