Bhedaghat

The nearest city Jabalpur is well connected with almost every prominent city of the country as well as state, by air, rail and road. Air Deccan is providing regular services to Delhi-Bhopal-Jabalpur route and Kingfisher Airlines is also running daily services from Jabalpur to Indore and Mumbai also connecting Hydrabad and Nagpur via Indore. Indian Airlines runs four days a week service on Delhi-Gwalior-Jabalpur route. Jabalpur is well connected to Nagpur, Bhopal, Allahabad and Jaipur so you can travel easily by roads also. Jabalpur is the headquarter of west central railways and is well connected with mail and super-fast trains from Mumbai, New Delhi, Ahmedabad, Bhopal, Howrah, Patna, Lucknow, Chennai, Bangalore, Nagpur, Kota and Jaipur.

Bhimbetka

earest city Bhopal is just 46 kilometers from here. By air Bhopal is well connected with Mumbai, Delhi, Jabalpur and Indore. The most convenient rail-head are Delhi-Chennai and Delhi-Mumbai mainline. Bhimbetka is connected with Bhopal by bus. One can also opt for taxi.

Chanderi

The nearest airport from Chanderi is in Gwalior. The nearest railway station in Gwalior is on Delhi-Mumbai and Delhi-Chennai lines. Besides, Chanderi has a good network of roads connecting it to major cities in Madhya Pradesh.

Chitrakoot

Chitrakoot is175km from Khajuraho, 115km from Allahabad, 110km from Satna. The nearest airport is at Khajuraho connected with Delhi, Agra and Varanasi. Jhansi-Manikpur mainline is the nearest railhead from here. Regular bus services connect Chitrakoot with Jhansi, Mahoba, Chitrakootdham, Harpalpur, Satna and Chhatarpur.

Gwalior

Gwalior is linked with all major cities of the country as well as state by air, rail and road. It is on Delhi-Mumbai and Delhi-Chennai railheads. Regular bus services connect the city with Agra, Mathura, Jaipur, Lucknow, Bhopal, Chanderi, Indore, Jhansi, Khajuraho, Rewa, Ujjain and Shivpuri.

Indore

Indore is the nearest airport, which has flights to all the major cities in India. By rail, Indore is connected to Mumbai and Delhi through extensive and frequent express trains. If you want to take bus services, they are available from Bhopal and Ujjain up to Indore.

Mandla

Nearest airport is at Bhopal ( 46 km via Diwanganj and 78 km via Raisen), which is connected with Delhi, Mumbai, Gwalior and Indore. As for railway route, Mandla lies on the Jabalpur section of the Central railways. However, the most convenient railhead is 10 km. Good, motorable roads connect Mandla with Bhopal, Indore, Sagar, Gwalior, Vidisha and Raisen, besides other places.

Orchha

There are some good package tours to the city from Delhi – Medieval Splendour , Charming Chanderi , Khajuraho Dance Festival to name a few. The nearest airport from Orchha is Gwalior. The closest railhead is at Jhansi, on the Mumbai-Delhi and Delhi-Chennai mainlines. Regular bus services connect the town with Khajuraho and Jhansi.

Pachmari

Bhopal is the nearest airport and is about 210 kilometres from Pachmarhi, and  Pipariya offers the closest railhead to Pachmarhi, which is about 47 kilometres away. In addition, Pachmarhi is well connected by road to Nagpur, Bhopal and Pipariya.

Bhopal

Being the state capital, Bhopal is linked well with all Indian metros by air. The town is on the main Delhi-Madras railway route. The station is near Hamidia Road. The Shatabdi Express connects Bhopal to Delhi. It is also well linked to Mumbai, Bhopal, Gwalior, Jhansi and Ujjain by train. Besides, town has good road connectivity with all major cities of the country.

Shivpuri

The nearest airport is at Gwalior (112 km), connected with Delhi, Bhopal, Indore and Mumbai. As for nearest railheads, they are at at Jhansi (101 km) and Gwalior, which lie on the Delhi – Mumbai and Delhi – Chennai main lines. Shivpuri is connected to Gwalior, Indore, Bhopal, Jhansi and Ujjain by regular bus services.

Khajuraho

The nearest airport is 5 kms from the town and is connected well by domestic flight to and from Agra, Varanasi and Kathmandu. Mahoba, Satna and Jhansi are the nearest railheads, connected to all major cities of India. As for road service, Khajuraho is connected to Mahoba, Harpalpur, Satna, Jhansi, Gwalior, Agra, Jabalpur and Bhopal.

Maheshwar

Indore is the nearest airport, which has flights to all the major cities in India. By rail, Indore is connected to Mumbai and Delhi through extensive and frequent express trains. If you want to take bus services, they are available from Bhopal and Ujjain up to Indore.

Panna

The Park is situated 25 kms from Khajuraho, a world heritage site which is half an hour drive from Madla Entry Point.  Hinouta, the second gate of the Park is 20 kms from Panna town.   Khajuraho is the nearest Airstrip which is directly connected to the National Capital, New Delhi.  Taxies are available all time from Khajuraho to Panna.

Ujjain

Nearest airport is Indore (55 km), which is connected by flights with Delhi, Gwalior, Bhopal and Mumbai. The town is a railway station on the Bhopal-Nagada sector of the Western Railway and one can also find regular bus services from Indore, Bhopal, Ratlam, Gwalior, Mandu, Dhar and Omkareshwar.

Sanchi

Bhopal is the nearest airport at a distance of 46 km. Nearest railhead is at Vidisha, 10 km from Sanchi. Sanchi is well connected to Bhopal, Vidisha and Indore through well laid road network.

Kanha National Park

Jabalpur is the nearest Aerodrome (169 K.M.) which is connected with Delhi, Mumbai, and bhopal. Besides, Mandla (70 K.M.) is well connected with Kanha.

Bandhavgarh National Park

Nearest airport from the park is Khajuraho, which Delhi, Agra or Varanasi. Nearest railway station is Umaria after Katani railway station, from there it is about 40 minutes drive to Nature Heritage. Alternatively, there is an overnight train from Delhi to Umaria and drive (30 minutes) to the park. Only jeeps are available for transfers. Khajuraho / Bandhavgarh distance is 250 Kms, (8 hrs drive).

Amarkantak

Nearest airports are Jabalpur (228 km.) and Raipur (230 km.). The nearest rail head is Pendra Road (42 km.) on the Katni – Bilaspur section of the South-Eastern Railway.  Amarkantak is connected by regular bus service with Shahdol, Umaria, Jabalpur, Rewa, Bilaspur, Anuppur and Pendra Road.
