School Chalen Ham Abhiyan should be mass movement

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that School Chalen Ham Abhiyan should be turned into a mass movement. Volunteers should be selected for implementation in every village who can help in implementation of other schemes also. CM Shri Chouhan reviewed development works in Balaghat after inspecting Janpad office and district hospital today. Farmers Welfare and Agriculture Development Minister Shri Gaurishankar Bisen, MP Shri Bodh Singh Bhagat, MLAs Sarvshri Yogendra Nirmal, K.D. Deshmukh, Sanjay Uikey and Madhu Bhagat were present on the occasion.
The Chief Minister said that he is starting series of inspections and campaign after Lok Sabha elections from Balaghat district. Reviewing Yuva Swarozgar Yojana establishment of small industries should be promoted through it and selected beneficiaries should be provided training and marketing.
He directed to ensure that people belonging to SCs and STs get benefit of welfare schemes. Reviewing drinking water arrangements, the Chief Minister expressed unhappiness over hurdles coming in the way of running piped water schemes. He directed to convene a high-level meeting between officers of Public Health Engineering Department and Madhya Pradesh State Electricity Board. Shri Chouhan also reviewed law & order situation, women’s empowerment and protection and Tirth-Darshan Yojana.
Surprise inspection of district hospital, Janpad Panchayat
office and public service centre
Soon after reaching Balaghat, the Chief Minister made a surprise inspection of the district hospital. He went round various wards and sought information from patients about supply of free medicines and treatment. He also visited free medicine distribution centre and took stock of the situation. During surprise inspections of Janpad Panchayat office and public service centre, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan sought information about beneficiary-oriented schemes and talked on mobile with beneficiaries.
