Patwa Says Uma’s Return to BJP Will Not Lead to Instability

Senior BJP leader and former Madhya Pradesh chief minister Sunderlal Patwa has said that Uma Bharati’s return to the party would not result in any instability, reported PTI.

“There is no division in the party on the issue. BJP was stable when she was in the party, and even when she was not there,” he was quoted as saying.

“People keep coming and going in the party and it would not lead to any instability,” Patwa was quoted as saying.

“All talk about the party being in two minds on the issue is in the media only. The party will take an appropriate decision on the issue at a proper time,” he was quoted as saying.

“However, I do not have any opinion on whether she should be inducted back in the party or not,” the former chief minister was quoted as saying.
