Over 70 % polling registered in 4 Lok Sabha constituencies

Bhopal: During elections in 29 Lok Sabha constituencies, polling percentage was over 70 in 4 constitueneis inclding Chhindwara, Mandsaur, Khandwa and Dewa. Chhinwara registered maximum 79.05 percent polling followed by Mandsaur 71.24 percent, Khandwa 70.93 percent and Dewas 70.72 percent.

In 2009 Lok Sabha elections, Chhindwara had registered 71.94 percent, i.e. 7.11 percent less polling, Mandsaur 55.82 percent polling, which was 15.42 percent less than this elections, Khandwa 60.40 percent which is 10.53 percent less and Dewas had registered 10.09 percent less polling than the recent 60.63 percent polling.

Besides, Balaghat , Khargone , Mandla, Ujjain , Betul, Hoshangabad, Vidisha , Rajgarh Dhar, Ratlam , Satna , Indore , Shahdol and Guna Lok Sabha constituencies’s polling percentage was between 60 and 70 while its was quite less comapatively in during last Lok Sabha elections. In 9 of the 29 Lok Sabha constituencies over 70 percent males cast their votes including maximum 81.08 percent in Chhindwara, Dewas 77.56, Mandsaur 76.19, Khandwa 73.68, Rajgarh 72.36, Ujjain 72.18, Vidisha 71.17, Hoshangabad 71.11 and Khargone 70.16 percent. Less number of male voters had cast their votes in these constituencies in Lok Sabha elections 2009.

Besides, Balaghat , Mandla, Betul, Guna, Dhar, Indore , Ratlam , Sagar, Shahdol , Satna , Damoh , Jabalpur and Bhopal are the Lok Sabha constituencies where polling percenage of male voters was between 60 and 70 percent, Simiarly, there are 12 Lok Sabha constituencies where over 60 percent female voters cast their votes including maximum 76.89 percent in Chhindwara followed by Khandwa 68.17, Balaghat 67.08, Mandsaur 65.98, Mandla 64.1, Khargone 63.9, Dewas 63.27, Betul 61.46, Ratlam 60.82, Ujjain 60.5, Satna 60.28 and 60.02 percent female voters cast their votes in Dhar Lok Sabha constituency.
