Mil-Banche Madhya Pradesh Abhiyan to be Organised Twice in a Year

Bhopal. From now on the Mil-Banche Madhya Pradesh Abhiyan will be organised twice in a year, once during admission time and second time in the middle of the academic session. Special Shiksha Gram Sabha will be organised in all villages under the Gramoday Abhiyan. On the same day, Ward Shiksha Sabha will be organised in the cities. These decisions were taken during a review meeting taken by the Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan today. School Education Minister Kunwar Vijay Shah, State Minister for School Education Shri Deepak Joshi and Chief Secretary Shri B.P. Singh were present during the meeting.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan issued instructions at the meeting to pay special attention to the training of teachers. Suggestions should be taken from the teachers to improve quality of education. Those who have extended their support in the Mil-Banche Madhya Pradesh Abhiyan will be thanked. All ministers and MLAs should adopt one school each under the Abhiyan. He said he will go to any one school twice every month. Inspiring books with good literature should be made available in the schools. Bal Sabhas in schools must be made multipurpose and annual function celebrations should be organised in all the schools. School Management Committee meetings must be held regularly. People should be persuaded to connect with their schools.

It was informed that one lakh 92 thousand 260 volunteers visited the schools under the Mil-Banche Madhya Pradesh Abhiyan on February 18. Several volunteers gave books and other related material to the schools. The School Education Department has chalked out a plan to rope in these volunteers for the assistance in extra-curricular activities. Material worth Rs 3 crore 21 lakh has been acquired by the schools under the Vidyalaya Uphaar Yojana. Among those who were present at the meeting were Principal Secretary duo to Chief Minister Shri Ashok Varnawal and Shri S.K. Mishra, Secretary School Education Smt. Deepti Gaud Mukherji and departmental officers.
