National Flag Hoisted all over State on the Occasion of 70th Independence Day

Bhopal. On the occasion of 70th Independence Day, National Flag was hoisted at all the District Head Quarters of the state. Various cultural programmes were organized to mark the occasion.

Sehore – Main Programme of Independence Day was organized at Police Ground in Sehore. Minister for Public Works Shri Rampal Singh unfurled the National Flag in the presence of the citizens. He read out the message of the Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh on the occasion and honoured freedom fighters and persons arrested during the MISA. After the programme he joined the mid day meal programme held at government Manuben Girls School and had lunch with the students. Cultural programme was presented by the students.

Shivpuri- Minister for Sports and Youth Welfare Smt, Yashodhara Raje Scindia hoisted National Flag at Police Parade Ground Shivpuri on the occasion of Independence Day. She took the salute of the joint parade on the occasion. Group Dances were presented by the students of various schools on patriotic songs. Also, presentation based on Beti Bachao and environment conservation was presented. Smt. Scindia honoured the Officers and Employees for their excellent work. She also inaugurated the health communication center at District Hospital Shivpuri.

Dindori- Minister for Tribal and Schedule Caste Welfare Shri Gyan Singh unfurled the National Flag at District Police Head Quarter’s ground and took the salute. He read out the message of Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan. Various Cultural programmes were presented by the students. Shri Singh also addressed the officers and employees who performed their duties excellently. After the programme Shri Singh reached the primary school Nariya and had lunch with the students under the mid day meal scheme.

Burhanpur- Minister for Women and Child Development Smt. Archana Chitnis hoisted the National Flag at Nehru Stadium. Colourful balloons to exhibit unity in diversity were released. She honoured the family members of freedom fighters and Martyrs of Kargil Battle. She also honoured the officers and employees for their excellent performance.

The National Flag was unfurled in Sheopur, Guna, Ashoknagar, Agar-Malwa, Neemuch, Narsinghpur, Alirajpur, Jhabua, Khargone, Ratlam, Betul, Tikamgarh, Chhindwara, Mandla, Singrauli, Mandsaur, Damoh, Badwani and Seoni by the Chairman of respective Jila Panchayats on the occasion of Independence Day.
