MPCC Chief Patwari said – Congress never made Scindia the CM face

Congress State President Jitu Patwari said in Bhind that Jyotiraditya Scindia was not the CM face from Congress in the 2018 assembly elections. On media’s question, he said, ‘During that time I was part of the election campaigning. Congress had contested the elections under collective leadership. Even today there is collective leadership in Congress. Congress never made Scindia its face.

Jitu Patwari, Assembly Leader of Opposition Umang Singhar and Deputy Leader of Opposition Hemant Katare had reached Bhind on Tuesday on a two-day stay.

Regarding the consecration ceremony of Ramlala in Ayodhya, Patwari said, ‘Ram temple is being built on the decision of the Supreme Court. Presently BJP is in government at the Centre, hence it is showing stake in the construction. The court’s decision has been accepted by every section of the country. No one protested. There is an ideology of following all religions in the country. The Congress party has been following this.

Mohan Yadav is not of BJP, but our Chief Minister

On the question of soft attitude towards former Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Patwari said, ‘Votes were received in someone’s name, the Chief Minister became someone else. Neither Mohan Yadav nor Shivraj is our enemy, we may have ideological differences. Shivraj has always been raising his voice regarding the scams that took place in the government. Mohan Yadav is our Chief Minister. He is the Chief Minister of the state, not of BJP. We are also citizens of the state, so we will continue to question the Chief Minister.

On the decision being taken from 10 Janpath, he said – yesterday’s story is old.
