MADHYA PRADESH TO INTRODUCE INVESTMENT INCENTIVE SCHEME

Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh would introduce an investment incentive scheme to provide the facilities under Industrial Promotion Policy 2014 for big-ticket industrial investment projects. This was informed at a meeting of the Investment Promotion Committee chaired by the Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan here today.

It was informed at the meeting that to avail the benefits of this scheme registration with the MPTRIFAC would be required. After registration the industrial units would submit a brief project report to the TRIFAC. The scheme provides for reimbursement of the expenditure incurred on infrastructure development, encouragement to private sector for infrastructure, entry tax and power duty exemption for green industrialization, reimbursement of CST and Mandi fee, interest subsidy to textile projects and assistance to economically impaired units. The cases of the registered units would be presented to the state level empowered committee by TRIFAC for decision.
Minister for Forests Dr. Gaurishankar Shejwar, Minister for Industries Smt. Yashodhara Raje Scindia, Minister for Revenue Shri Rampal Singh and Chief Secretary Shri Anthony de Sa and other members of the committee attended the meeting.
