CUTTING EDGE TECHNOLOGY BASED INDUSTRIES TO COME UP IN MP

Bhopal: Three delegations of investors from United States of America met the Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan here today. They made investment proposals for setting up cutting edge technology based manufacturing units in the state. The investors were all praise for the Chief Minister’s pro-active working, vision and behaviour.

Minister for Commerce and Industries Smt. Yashodhara Raje Scindia and Chief Secretary Shri Anthony de Sa were also present on the occasion.

The Chief Minister assured the delegations of every possible cooperation from the state government including making available land, power, water and skilled workers. Shri Himanshu Patel of Trenton Solar informed that his group would set up a Rs. 600 crore production unit in the state. Land has already been identified and DPR is under process for this. He informed that the nano glass, paper and battery would be produced by this unit. The nano battery would be paper thin which could be charged even in moisture. It is much in demand in health sector. It would not require sunlight for charging. He also showed the paper that would be charged by sunlight and would shine in the night. It is very useful in traffic system.

Shri Vipin Bhardwaj of DyeSpark from New Jersey informed that he is going to establish an IT unit in the state. For this 5 acre land has been identified at Indore. Action is in progress with IT department to obtain this land. He praised the fast working of the Chief Minister Shri Chouhan saying that he met him only a week ago and now the process is on to set up the unit in the state.

Shri Satyendra M.Gupta of U.S.T. Global informed that one of his units is operational in Kerala. Spread over 16 acre this units has employed 43 thousand persons. Another such unit would be set up in Madhya Pradesh that would employee over 10 thousand persons in the first phase. He said that he would also impart skill required for this unit. His group would give priority to people of weaker and deprived sections in the training, he added.
