Lives of people who living for country is meaningful: CM

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that lives of people who live for country and society are meaningful. Life becomes successful only by serving others. He said that Kshamawani Parv will be held at Chief Minister’s residence on October 10. Shri Chouhan was addressing Kshamawani Mahotsav organised by Shri Jain Shwetambar Sakal Sangh here today. Water Resources and Environment Minister Shri Jayant Malaiya was also present on the occasion.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that one who wins self is Mahaveer. Kshama Parv is unique occasion when people apologise if they have hurt others with their utterances and deeds. Jain is a aware community. Lesson of penance can be learnt from it. Penance is a way to win self. He said that if objective of life is attainment of God, it can be fulfilled by serving human beings. The State Government has chalked out several schemes for the poor and weaker sections. They include Mukhyamantri Teerth-Darshan Yojna under which senior citizens are sent to pilgrimage free of cost. The scheme includes pilgrimage to Shravan Belagola and Sammed Shikhar. All arrangements in democracy are for the people.
At the programme, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan honoured those who underwent penance during Paryushan Parv. He release organisation’s souvenir Kshamapana-2012.
Shri Jayant Malaiya said that apology makes softens one’s heart. Mistakes do happen in worldly life some times. Shri Chouhan also honoured several organisations engaged in humanitarian service. At the outset, welcome address was delivered by Shri Jain Shwetambar Sakal Sangh president Shri Mahendra Kumar Maloo. Shri Vijesh Lunawat, Shri Rahul Kothari, Shri Prakaschandra Maloo, Dr. Shailesh Lunawat, Shri K.C. Soni, Shri Subhash Soni and a large number of community members were present on the occasion.
