Land bank to be developed for defence products manufacturing units
Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has directed to develop a land bank for defence products manufacturing units in the state. He said that every possible assistance should be provided to investors in the state. Shri Chouhan was reviewing investment proposals here today. Chief Secretary Shri Anthony de Sa was also present.
The Chief Minister reviewed investment proposals received by Revenue, Mining and New & Renewable Energy departments. He directed to complete works within time-limit. He will himself undertake quarterly review of action taken on proposals.
The meeting was informed that textile project is coming up in Khargone district. Identified land for the project has been allotted. Land for medical college in Seoni district has been identified and reserved. Land has been allotted to float glass project in Bhind district and work started. Under Madhya Pradesh Biomass-based Power Projects Policy-2011, exemption from electricity duty and cess has been given for 10 years to integrated sugar mill and captive power plant in Gwalior district.
Principal Secretary Industries Shri Mohammad Suleman, Principal Secretary New & Renewable Energy Shri Manu Shrivastava, Principal Secretary to CM Shri S.K. Mishra and Secretaries of Mining and Revenue departments were also present on the occasion.
