Industries Minister Smt. Scindia inaugurates 8th Reverse Buyer-Seller Meet

Bhopal: Commerce & Industries Minister Smt. Yashodhara Raje Scindia inaugurated 8th Reverse Buyer-Seller Meet “Exportech-2015” here today. Bhopal MP Shri Alok Sanjar, 18 High Commissioners, Ambassadors and Consulars of 13 countries and about 80 buyers from 21 countries were present on the occasion. During the 3-day meet, state’s micro and small entrepreneurs will not only get opportunity to display their products directly to foreign buyers, but will also hold one-to-one meetings with importers.

The Minister said that efforts are being made to provide maximum facilities to foreign investors in Madhya Pradesh. Labour laws have also been amended due to which investors can obtain only 2 permissions instead 17. Similarly, all clearances are given at one place through single window system.

Representatives of SAARC and CIS countries, Africa, Latin America, Eastern Europe and Asian countries and importers are taking part in the meet mainly Afghanistan, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Bhutan, Nepal, Hungary and Dubai. State’s entrepreneurs are displaying plastic and packaging material, spices and organic products, processed and unprocessed food product, herbal products and medicines, textile yarn & fabric, engineering and machine products (electrical products, fabrication, casting, fixtures & fittings, power & transformer equipments, insulation condensers and heat exchangers).

Among High Commissioners, Ambassadors and Consulars of 13 countries, Shri Maxwell Ranga of Zimbabwe, Shri Sabit Subasic of Bosnia, Shri Alem Tsehaye Wolmariam of Eritrea, Shri Carlos Durate of Brazil, Shri Shaida M Abdali and Shri Sayed Mujtaba Ahmadi of Afghanistan, Shri Ahmed Mohammed and Shri Ali Sajid Shakir of Maldives, Sushri Elizabeth Paula Napeyok of Uganda, Shri Octavian Dovre and Shri Lonout Mircea Viziru of Romania, Shri Mongy Badr and Sushri Nisha Shanmugam of Egypt and Shri Gayrat Tairov of Uzbekistan.

Entrepreneurs to participate in Hanover Trade Fair-2015

Industries Minister Smt. Scindia has invited state’s micro and small entrepreneurs to Hanover Trade Fair-2015 to be held in Germany. Smt. Scindia said that entrepreneurs interested in taking part in this fair display of their products in Madhya Pradesh Pavilion in this exhibition may contact Commissioner Commerce and Industries, MD of Madhya Pradesh Laghu Udyog Nigam and Vice-President of CII Madhya Pradesh Shri C.P. Sharma.
