Excellence awards for forest officials

BHOPAL: The state government has bestowed Excellence Awards to five forest officials for the year 2008-09, 2009-10 and 2010-11. The awards were presented by Forest Minister Sartaj Singh at a function held here on Tuesday.

For the year 2008-2009 the excellence award was provided to Working Range Assistant, Deputy Forest Ranger Parmanand Ahirwar and Forest Guard Shiv Kumar Shrivastava.

Forest Ranger Parmanand Ahirwar exhibited exemplary courage and arrested accused in ten forest crimes while Parmanand Ahirwar pursue cases of Basoda Forest Sub-Division in Vidisha district during the year 2008-09. Some of the cases were decided in th efavour of government.

For the year 2009-2010 Forest Guard Shahid Mohammad Khan get the award for his hard work during 18th All-India Forest Sports Competitions the year 2009-10.

Due his work players from other states lavished praise on the arrangements at the competitions.

For the year 2009-2010 Forest Guard Avinash Tripathi and Ranger Dinesh Joshi got the award.

Dinesh Joshi made arrangements for plantation in 7-acre area at Salkanpur in the year 2010-11 within a short span and with low cost
