Dialogue between police and public should be increase: Home Minister
SATNA: The Home Minister Umashankar Gupta stressed on increasing dialogue between people and the police.
He said that there should be regular meetings with people’s representatives at the district level and with distinguished citizens at police station level.
He was reviewing departmental activities in a meeting with senior police officers of Rewa division at Satna on Thursday.
He enquired about the information regarding the district wise meetings between police and public.
He said that with theses meeting mutual trust between both will be generated. He stressed on weekly rounds by police to haat-bazaars and also on public festivities.
He stressed on to maintain better dialogue with common people by police personnel right from senior level upto to lower level. Superintendents of police and Additional SPs of concerning districts were also present on the occasion.
