Communities should create education fund for poor children: CM

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that every community should create a fund to help in education of poor children. He was addressing the national convention of Akhil Bhartiya Shri Dhakar Mahasabha at Jawad in Neemuch district today. The Chief Minister announced Rs. 10 lakh assistance , a residential plot and job to the wife of martyr Shri Jageshwar Dhakar. He said that late Shri Dhakar’s statue would be installed in Dewas.

The Chief Minister called for greater efforts for upliftment of the poor side by side eliminating social evils. He stressed the need to boost industrialization along with pushing up agriculture for prosperity of the nation and the state. Referring to state government’s schemes he said that relentless efforts are contunuing to make agriculture profitable. He said that 50 percent reservation has been given to women in local bodies. Now 33 percent posts in police would be reserved for women. Shri Chouhan said that 20 lakh girls have benefited under Ladali Laxmi Yojana in the state.

Shri Chouhan lauded the dedication of Dhakar community to nation building. No community should lag behind in serving the nation, he added.

Floral Tributes to Late Shri Sakhlecha

The Chief Minister also offered floral tributes at the Samadhi of former Chief Minister late Shri V.K. Sakhlecha at Jawad. He said that late Shri Sakhlecha was a brilliant thinker, efficient organizer and able administrator. He served the people all his life.

MP Shri Sudhir Gupta and MLAs Shri Kailash Chawla, Shri Om Prakash Sakhlecha and Shri Dilip Singh Parihar were also present on the occasion.
