CM Informs Investors of Industry Conducive Environment in State

Bhopal  —  Addressing prospective investors at an industry interactive session in Munich, the industrial capital of Germany, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan Monday invited the industrialists to invest in food processing, organic farming, renewable energy and automobile sectors in the state.

Chouhan, who addressed the session along with Industries Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya, described the environment in the state as conducive for industrial investment and invited his audience to participate  in the Global Investors Summit, scheduled to be held in Khajuraho October next.

The Chief Minister Chouhan is currently on a three nation tour – Germany, The Netherlands and Italy – to give a fillip to foreign investments in the state.

The delegation includes Vijayavargiya, senior officers of the state government and several principal industrialists of the country.

Munich Technical University Professor Harst Bildyan gave a presentation on the expected joint ventures by Germany and India at the session.

On behalf of the delegation Additional Chief Secretary (Industry) Satyaprakash and managing director of Force-Man Trucks Sudhir Mehta gave a detailed presentation on the investment possibilities and opportunities in the state.

Prominent among those attending the session were Chief Executive Officer of Kroysons Solar, Rawlend Rosner (Siemens Group), CEO of Geotex Peter Mor, E-Circle CEO Walker Vicar, Christin Warne (Chamber of Commerce, Munich) and others.

After the session, Chouhan and members of the delegation visited the manufacturing unit of BMW car. The delegation also visited a biogas plant, about 25 km from Munich and gathered an insight into the working of this modern gas plant.

Agreement between Bavaria State of Germany and Madhya Pradesh for economic, cultural relations.

Before visiting the industrial area of Munich City, Chouhan met Deputy Chief Minister of Bavaria State Martin Jayle, the two leaders agreed to establish economic and cultural relations between Bavaria and Madhya Pradesh.

It was decided that representatives of both states should meet to explore the possible areas and prepare study reports before inking an MoU.

As a sign of honour both the leaders exchanged mementos.

The delegation will proceed to Amsterdam on June 15.
