CM for employment to local people in upcoming industries
Bhopal: The Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that the upcoming industries in the State will bring more jobs to local people. He urged the new industries to have communications with the locals. Shri Chouhan today met investors at Mantralaya here today.
Shri Chouhan met Managing Director of John Deer company Shri Satish Nadigar and Chief Executive of Rio Tinto Diamonds and Minerals Shri Alan Davis. Minister for Commerce and Industry Smt. Yashodhara Raje Scindia, Chief Secretary Shri Anthony De Sa and Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Shri SK Mishra were present.
The Chief Minister said that the investment friendly policy has been put in place. Single-door clearance policy has encouraged industries. Industries will employ local people and bring economic prosperity. Industry should strictly adhere to corporate social responsibility. The training of local people to enhance the chances of employability has been a focus area. It was informed that John Deer company recently began exporting from the State. Tractors manufactured by the company are being exported to Mexico. The Rio Tinto company is also increasingly using the sophisticated technology.
