Ayurved Research Council to be constituted in Madhya Pradesh

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that Ayurved Research Council will be constituted in Madhya Pradesh. He also announced construction of a stadium on the premises of Pandit Khushilal Sharma Government Autonomous Ayurved College and Research Institute. He was addressing annual function “Nawark 2013” of the college at Samanvaya Bhavan here today. Chief Minister’s wife Smt. Sadhna Singh was also present on the occasion.

The Chief Minister said that optimum opportunities of progress will be available in both private and public sectors in the state for doctors of Ayurvedic system of medicine. The State Government will recruit 750 Ayurved doctors through Public Service Commission.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan laid emphasis on more efforts to re-establish glory of Ayurvedis system of medicine, which not only cures, but also eradicate disease from body. He also stressed the need for new researches and studies in Ayurved.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan honoured winners of academic and extracurricular activities in the college. He also witnessed a cultural programme presented by the college students.
