All basic amenities will be given to citizens in Prime Minister Housing Scheme

Bhopal. Finance minister Shri Jayant Mallaiya has said that all basic amenities will be provided to citizens in houses to be constructed under Prime Minister Housing Scheme. He said that every person will have its own house by year 2022. Finance minister Shri Mallaiya was addressing Bhoomi Pujan programme for construction of 867 houses and 50 shops under Atal Ashray Yojana in Damoh. The cost of the scheme is Rs 64 crore.

Finance minister Shri Mallaiya said that development of roads, bypass construction, railway over bridge and other development works are being carried out speedily. Finance minister said that all developmental works will be completed in time frame in Damoh district. He said that all necessary facilities including garden, school and hospital will be given to citizens in houses where Bhoomi Pujan was performed.

Chairman of Madhya Pradesh Housing and Infrasructure Development Board Shri Krishnamurari Moghe said in his address that housing board will give houses to 25000 people by the year 2018. He said that housing board has decided to construct 7500 EWS, 5500 LIG houses by March 2018. Shri Moghe said that construction of 2200 HIG and 2500 flats is underway. Member of Parliament Shri Prahlad Patel also addressed the programme. Damoh municipality chairperson Smt Malti Asati informed that housing board is constructing houses and shops in 60 hectare land. Only 58 EWS houses are left for registration.

Narmada Seva Up-Yatra flagged-off

Minister Shri Mallaiya flagged off Up-Yatra for participating in Namami Devi Narmade – Seva Yatra in Narsinghpur district. Narmada devotees, public representatives, panchayat representatives and dignitaries were present on the occasion.

Finance minister said that Yatra is being taken out in the areas wherever Narmada is flowing. Today’s rally is going to Barman Ghat. He said that Up Yatra is being taken out from the areas where Narmada is not flowing. Shri Mallaiya said that plantation will be carried out both the side of Narmada in 500 -500 metre distance. Fund will be given for plantation and its protection on private land to farmers. He said that the government wished to make Narmada river pollution-free. Finance minister Shri Mallaiya said that Narmada Seva Yatra has received huge public response. People of every class and creed are participating in it. He said that he participated in the yatra at three places. Sevak departed to participate in Namami Devi Narmade Seva Yatra from 13 blocks from district headquarters in 75 vehicles.
