9018 employees of Bhopal will be given second election training from 6th to 8th Nov

A total of 9018 employees of Bhopal will be given second election training from 6th to 8th November. In two centres, they will learn the ABCD of EVM, mock poll, voting, taking voting material till depositing it. They will cast their vote through postal ballot during the training itself.

District Panchayat CEO Rituraj said that the training will start on November 6. Employees will receive room-wise training in two sessions from 8 am to 7 pm. Every election related information will be given to 900-900 employees in Motilal Science College and Maharani Lakshmibai College in each session. 105 master trainers will train the employees. Earlier on Friday, a meeting of all the master trainers was also held in the presence of Collector Ashish Singh in the District Panchayat. He was given the Election Commission’s booklet and also had a one-to-one discussion. The Collector told everyone that there should not be any kind of negligence in training. It should be completely error free. CEO Rituraj, Additional CEO Dr. Vinod Yadav, Deputy District Election Officer Ravi Shankar Rai, Assistant Nodal Officer Sandeep Srivastava, Dr. RK Sharma were also present.

There are a total of 2049 polling stations in the district. Four officer-employees (PO, P-1, P-2 and P-3) will be on duty at each centre. Accordingly, there are a total of 8196 officers and employees. Apart from these, 10% employees will remain as reserve.

This will be the final training for P-2 and P-3 i.e. polling employees. After this they will not get training. Therefore, they will also be given the Election Commission booklet. PO i.e. Presiding Officer and P-1 i.e. Polling Officer will once again be given final training on 14th November.

During the training itself, the employees will come to know in which assembly their duty will be done. However, they will be able to know about the polling station only later.

Under the training How to conduct mock poll using EVM and VVPAT.

Match the result displayed on the control unit with the mock poll slips of VVPAT.

Clearing of mock poll results from CU and removal of mock poll slips from VVPAT drop box.

Stamping the reverse side of VVPAT mock poll paper slips and sealing the black envelope with pink paper currency.

Briefing the candidates and polling agents on secrecy of votes.

Announcing the vote clearly and obtaining the signature of the candidate/polling agent.

Filing certificate in Form 17A. Periodically matching the numbers recorded in Form-17A with the total and informing the Returning Officer about the status of voting at the end of voting

Providing numbered slips to the people standing in the queue at the time of closing of voting.

Voters standing in the queue have to press the close button after casting their vote.

How to remove VVPAT power pack (battery).

EVM and VVPAT machines are to be kept in proper boxes and sealed.

Statutory and non-statutory documents also have to be sealed.

Signatures of all the polling agents have to be taken in Part-1 of Form 17C and its certified copy has to be provided to everyone.

How to accompany the security convoy to deposit all the election materials at the collection centre, etc.
