Tablighi Ijtima 25,000 volunteers are managing the religious gathering in Eithkhedi Bhopal

25,000 volunteers are managing the religious gathering Tablighi Ijtima in Eithkhedi, Bhopal. 10 lakh people will attend the conference which will last for 4 days (8 to 11 December). These 25,000 trained and experienced people are responsible for managing the crowd, cleanliness and traffic in the 450-acre campus.

Of these, 20000 are volunteers of Ijtima Committee. The staff of 5 thousand belongs to the Municipal Corporation, Administrative and Police forces. All these people play an important role in crowd management and pandal arrangements. As the crowd increases, they set up a new tent. Carry a sack with you to collect garbage.

Most of the expenses for managing the arrangements are borne by themselves. The entire day’s food and drink is also spent at one’s own expense. Those coming to the Ijtima are getting food for only Rs 50. People from the affluent section of the society donate materials voluntarily and the work of preparing food is also handled by volunteers. More than 2000 people are involved in this work.

As the crowd increases, a new pandal gets ready within some time. 2000 people do only this work. As soon as people increase in an area, a team stops them there and makes arrangements for their stay by making a new pandal. Apart from this, vehicles have been deployed to bring the deposits from bus and railway stations. They bring people to the Ijtima venue for free.

Apart from this, at least 2000 people in Ijtima serve the elders like family. If an elderly person has difficulty in walking, a wheelchair is immediately arranged. If needed, they also change clothes and provide other assistance.

According to the people of Ijtima Committee, there are many such volunteers who are trained by the police administration. In this training they are told how to manage the traffic. To avoid chaos, as soon as the date of Ijtima is fixed, thousands of Muslims from the capital and surrounding areas take leave from jobs and business and get involved in the arrangements. The administration plays a supporting role. Volunteers manage the traffic arrangements of the Ijtima. There is no traffic jam anywhere.

At least 6000 volunteers are engaged in the cleaning system. They neither have any hesitation in cleaning sewage nor in picking up plastic and other garbage lying here and there. Every person carries a sack with him, where garbage is immediately picked up. These people also arrange lime and perfume for cleaning sewage at their own expense. You can’t find out what is the status of the people engaged in service here?

Volunteers do everything from garbage collection to sewage cleaning without any hesitation. Ijtima is one of the 5 big Islamic events.

Bhopal’s Alami Tablighi Ijtima is one of the five biggest Islamic events in the world. The Ijtima will take place from 8th to 11th December. The number of participants from all over the world is in lakhs, while on the last day a large number of people participate in the prayers.

Ijtima takes place in only 3 countries in the world, India, Pakistan and Bangladesh. Jamaats from all over the country and the world have reached Bhopal to participate in it. After Fajr prayers on the first day, Maulana Jamshed of Uttar Pradesh addressed the Jamaatis.
