Preparations for Asian Games stared at Bishankheri

Bhopal: Chief Secretary Shri Anthony de Sa met members of Indian Kabaddi team at Sports Authority of India’s Regional Centre at Bishankheri (Bhopal) today. The 25-member team has come here for pre-training and practice for ensuing Asian Games. An exhibition match was also played on the occasion. Asian Games will be held in Korea next month. Indian Kabaddi team has been winning gold medal consecutively in last 6 Asian Games.

The Chief Secretary got introduction of players and wished them success in Asian Games. The Chief Secretary also presented sports kits to the players. He lauded activities of SAI’s Regional Centre at Bhopal.
The Chief Secretary also planted a sapling on the Authority’s premises. Authority’s Regional Director Shri Roque Dias was also present on the occasion. Former Olympians Shri Ashok Dhyanchand and Shri Jalaluddin were also present during exhibition match.
