Argentina star Lionel Messi announces retirement

New Delhi: Following a heartbreaking 4-2 defeat against Chile in Copa America final, Argentina star and arguably the best soccer player of the current times–Lionel Messi has announced retirement from Argentina national team.
Messi was unable to score any goal during the final, the fate of which was decided by the penalty shootout. Sadly, he missed the shootout chance as well.

Messi’s retirement will create a huge void in Argentina team, who is often referred to as a one man army.
