Funds for Cleaning Ganga River Doubled

In the budget, finance minister Pranab Mukherjee has doubled the allocation for cleaning the Ganga river while reducing funds for wildlife conservation, said media reports. Toll Rises to 17 in Pune Blast as 23-year-old Woman Dies

A 23-year-old woman from Ambala, who was injured in German Bakery blast, succumbed to her injuries Friday night taking the toll to 17, reported IANS. Her body was handed over to her relatives Saturday afternoon, report said.
