Fire breaks out at AIIMS Delhi, all patients evacuated safely

A fire broke out near the emergency ward of AIIMS Delhi on Monday.

The incident took place around 11:54 am, following which six fire tenders were immediately dispatched to the location to contain the situation.

According to AIIMS sources, the fire occurred in the endoscopy room, on the second floor of the Old OPD building, just above the emergency ward. All patients in the room were safely evacuated.
