Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro launched globally and here is how it differs from Indian variant

The Redmi Note 7 Pro made its global debut in India last month. Now, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer has launched the Redmi Note 7 Pro in its home market at an event today. Unlike in India, Xiaomi has launched the Redmi Note 7 Pro in only one variant in China with 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. In China, the Redmi Note 7 Pro will sell for 1599 Yuan which roughly translates to around Rs 16,350. The 6GB RAM model of the Redmi Note 7 Pro sells for Rs 16,999 in India. At the same event, Xiaomi launched the Redmi 7 for starting price 699 Yuan.

Compared to the Indian variant of the Redmi Note 7 Pro the Chinese model is slightly different. As noted, the Redmi Note 7 Pro in China will be available in only one model. It packs 6GB RAM and 128GB storage which can be expanded up to 256GB via microSD card. In India the Redmi Note 7 Pro is available in two variants — 4GB RAM/64GB storage for Rs 13,999 and 6GB RAM/128GB storage for Rs 16,999.

In China, the Redmi Note 7 Pro comes packed with a 6.3-inch 2340 x 1080 FHD+ display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The Redmi phone runs Android 9 Pie based on MIUI 10 out-of-the-box. On the hardware front, the Redmi Note 7 Pro is powered by 2GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 675 chipset with Adreno 612 GPU paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage expandable up to 256GB. On the camera front, the Redmi Note 7 Pro includes a 48MP Sony IMX586 primary sensor and 5MP secondary sensor.
