After the voting for the assembly elections, preparations for counting have started on 3rd December. Counting work will start from 8 am on 3rd. Halls have been built for assembly wise counting located in the old jail. Counting of ballot papers cast by employees, disabled and elderly people will start from 8 am. After this, counting of EVMs started from 8:30.

For this, 14-14 tables will be set up for counting the votes of each assembly constituency. Where EVM votes of 14 polling stations will be known at one go. In this way, rounds will be held according to the polling stations of the assembly. After counting of total polling stations and postal ballots, the returning officer of the assembly will issue a certificate of total votes. Due to which the victory or defeat of the candidates will be decided according to the votes.

With this, the picture of 96 candidates trying their luck in all the assembly constituencies of the district will become clear. Deputy District Election Officer Ravi Shankar Rai said that it is expected that the first round of counting will end between 9 am and 9:15 am. If we look at the round wise, then the results of Central, North and South-West can come first.

After this, other results are expected. District administration officials said that the votes received by 9 candidates in Berasia, 15 in North, 23 in Narela, 11 in South-West, 15 in Bhopal Central, 17 in Govindpura and 6 in Huzur will be counted on the day of counting. On the day of counting, the round will be completed first for that assembly which has less candidates. Because the number of candidates who have received round wise votes at one time. They will be noted to the polling agent. After this the next round will start.

13 lakh 91 thousand 260 voted: There are a total of 20 lakh 87 thousand 32 voters in seven assemblies. Whereas the number of voters cast in voting will be counted as 13 lakh 91 thousand 260.
