Thousands of banners and posters being removed daily from public and private properties

Bhopal: Model code of conducted is being strictly enforced to ensure peaceful elections in Madhya. Action is being taken against violation of Prevention of Deforming of Public Property Act. So far, one lakh 97 thousand 333 posters, banners etc have been removed from public and private properties. As many as one lakh 68 thousand 855 posters, banners and wall paintings have been removed from public property and 28 thousand 478 publicity material from private properties.

So far, 35 thousand 109 wall writings, 57 thousand 644 posters, 31 thousand 699 banners and 44 thousand 403 other materials have been removed from public properties. Similarly, 12 thousand 430 wall writings, 6 thousand 92 posters, 3 thousand 799 banners and 6 thousand 157 other materials have been removed from public properties. As many as 155 cases have also been registered in this regard.
As many as 388 cases of misuse of vehicles have come to the fore in districts and FIRs have been registered in 161 cases. Similarly, FIRs have been registered in 13 out of 47 cases for use of loudspeakers without official permission. Cases have been registered in 8 out 17 complaints regarding holding meeting/ speeches without official permission.
