Progressive industrial policy in Madhya Pradesh: CM

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that a progressive industrial policy has been implemented in the state. Every possible assistance is being extended to investors coming to Madhya Pradesh. The Chief Minister met the investors here today in the series of regular meeting with investors. Commerce and Industries Minister Smt. Yashodhara Raje Scindia was also present.

Those who met the Chief Minister today included Director of Ujas Energy Shri Vikalp Moondra and Chairman of Gitanjali Group Shri Mehul Chauksi. Ujas Energy wishes to establish manufacturing unit of solar cells and modules in the state at an estimated cost of Rs. 600 crore. Similarly, Gitanjali Gems wishes to set up gems and jewellery parks at Bhopal, Indore or Khajuraho.

Following meeting with these investors, the Chief Minister reviewed implementation of his earlier directives. He said that directives pertaining to investment should be implemented within time-limit. At the meeting progress of directives regarding Medical Education, Urban Development & Environment and Commercial Taxes departments was reviewed.

Principal Secretary to CM Shri S.K. Mishra, Principal Secretary Commerce and Industries Shri Mohammad Suleman, Principal Secretary Medical Education Shri Vinod Semwal, Principal Secretary Commercial Taxes Shri Manoj Shrivastava, Principal Secretary Urban Development & Environment Shri Malay Shrivastava and TRIFAC Managing Director Shri D.P. Ahuja attended the meeting.
