State pioneered e-payment

BHOPAL: The Union government lauded the efforts of state government in pioneering e-payment. The 84% payment was made in treasury through e-payment.

The union government described the state’s e-payment system as emulating for other states of the country.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan informs about this in a meeting of Finance Department held at Mantralaya on Tuesday.

In the meeting Finance Minister Raghavji and Chief Secretary R. Parasuram were also present. The state financial condition was sound informs meeting.

The CM lauded the efforts of finance department. He also instructed to draft bill for abolishing practice of extending loans on higher interest rates. Some other financial matters and policies were also discussed in the meeting.
