BJP has come under attack over Digvijay Singh’s statement on Popular Front of India (PFI). CM Shivraj Singh asked Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi why Digvijaya Singh is opposing the action on PFI, Kya Ye Congress Ka Rukh Hai? Do you agree with his statement? Here Digvijay Singh clarified that my answer is being quoted wrongly.

Digvijay Singh was in Ujjain on Wednesday. Jahan media asked him about action on PFI. On this, Digvijay Singh said – ‘The point is that if there is such an allegation against PFI, then we have no objection to you conducting ten raids. But, we are seeing that as many as 97 percent of the cases have been found to be false.’

On this statement of Digvijay Singh, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh said- ‘I want to ask questions from Priyanka ji. Apak Party leader and former Chief Minister Digvijay Singh is opposing the action on PFI. PFI does terror funding. Engaged in terrorist activities. Ban laga hua hai, country ki dushman hai. And on that action if Digvijay Singh opposes it.

Is this the stand of Congress? Glorify terrorists, oppose surgical strikes, oppose action on PFI. Priyanka ji, you will have to answer whether you agree with Digvijay Singh’s statement?’ Digvijay Singh wrote – My answer to the question asked by some media organizations is being quoted wrongly which I did not say. I have not supported PFI, an organization that incites communalism. I am and will always be against people/organizations spreading communalism in the name of religion.

BJP MLA Rameshwar Sharma said – Digvijay Singh has destroyed and ruined MP. Now the new conspiracy is going on in the country. Jee Kahkar has already addressed the terrorists. Sanatan, Hindu, Hindustan, Sena ke party will not talk. Islamic fanatics are in favor of terrorism. Digvijay Singh is Jinnah’s embodiment.

BJP spokesperson Narendra Saluja said on Digvijay Singh’s statement – Congress’s hand rests with the anti-national force. The Modi government at the center has banned PFI due to anti-national activities. But, Digvijay Singh is giving a statement in support of PFI. Congress leader gives anti Sanatan statement.
