Four Injured as Security Forces, Militants Engage in Gunbattle in Srinagar
Nearly four men, one of them police constable, were injured on Wednesday when terrorists lobbed grenades and opened fire at Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) at Lal Chowk in the heart of Srinagar, said officials.
Of the remaining three, two were civilians and a camera-person of a news channel.
Reports said that militants have broken into a hotel and are firing on the security personnel. The gunbattle between the security forces and the militants is on.
Senior police officers and CRPF personnel have rushed to the spot and the hotel has been cordoned off.
