Today Congress started its Jan Ashirwad Yatra from Sheopur. Leader of Opposition in charge of Jan-Aakrosh Yatra Dr. Govind Singh, National Secretary Madhya Pradesh’s co-in-charge Shiv Bhatia, MLA Laxman Singh, State Congress Committee Working President Ramniwas Rawat Morena, Lok Sabha in-charge Anil Bhardwaj. Kisan Congress State President Dinesh Gurjar, MLA Babu Jandel Singh, District President Atul Chauhan, Divisional Spokesperson Dharmendra Sharma etc. reached the historical Ganesh temple of Sheopur and started the Jan-Akrosh Yatra by offering prayers to Lord Shri Ganesha.

In Madhya Pradesh, Congress is trying to woo the people in the upcoming assembly elections by taking out Jan Aakrosh Yatra from September 19. For this, the party has divided the entire state into 7 routes. One in-charge and several co-in-charges have been appointed. Every yatra will start from the temple of the respective assembly constituency.

Special chariots have been brought from Hyderabad to Madhya Pradesh for all these 7 routes. On which local leaders will ride and go among the public. This Yatra will cover a distance of more than 11400 km and will try to connect with the people in 230 assembly constituencies.

Seven special chariots have been brought from Hyderabad to Madhya Pradesh for the Jan Akrosh Yatra.

Yatra no. 1: This yatra will cover about 1500 km in 36 assembly constituencies in 14 days. It will start from Sheopur assembly seat in Sheopur district and conclude from Rajgarh assembly seat in Rajgarh district. In-charge of this yatra is Leader of Opposition in the Assembly Govind Singh. Co-in-charge are MLA Laxman Singh, Ramniwas Rawat, Brijnath Kushwaha, Ramsevak Gurjar, Devashish Jararia, Ramesh Nayak, Dinesh Gurjar, Vasudev Sharma, Mayor Shraddha Solanki, Pragya Sharma and Ambika Sharma.

Yatra  no. 2: Covering a distance of approximately 1400 km in 14 days, this Yatra will try to connect with the public in 34 assembly constituencies. This yatra will start from Damoh assembly seat of Damoh district and end at Huzur assembly seat of Bhopal. Its in-charge is former state president Arun Yadav. Co-in-charges are Alok Chaturvedi, Prabhu Singh Thakur, Surendra Singh Chaudhary, Vikram Singh, Harsh Yadav, Tarbar Lodhi, Nitendra Singh, Mukesh Nayak, Neeraj Dixit, Guddu Raja Bundela and Ajay Tandon.

Yatra no. 3: This yatra will cover more than 1900 km in 14 days across 30 assembly seats. Kamleshwar Patel is in charge of this journey. This yatra will start from Chitrangi assembly constituency of Singrauli district and will conclude at Panna assembly constituency of Panna district. The co-incharges of this yatra are Narayan Patta, Siddharth Kushwaha, Phundelal Marco, Praveen Tiwari, Hina Kavre, Neelanshu and Omkar Markam.

Yatra no. 4: This yatra will cover a distance of 1300 km in 31 assembly constituencies in 15 days. It will start from Mahamrityunjay Temple located in the fort complex of Rewa district and will conclude in Silvani assembly constituency of Raisen district. In-charge of this journey is former leader of opposition Ajay Singh Rahul.

Yatra no. 5: This yatra will cover a distance of 1300 km in 10 days in 22 assembly constituencies. Suresh Pachauri is in charge of this journey. This yatra will start from Harda assembly constituency in Harda district and conclude at Hoshangabad assembly constituency in Hoshangabad district. The co-incharges of this yatra are Sukhdev Panse, Sushil Paliwal, Pradeep Jain Aditya, Ramu Tekam, Sameer Khan, Santosh Malviya, Anand Bakshi, Rajesh Upadhyay, Sanjeev Mishra and Dr. Alok Chandosia.

Yatra no. 6: This yatra will travel more than 1600 km in 13 days and will conduct public relations in 33 assembly seats. It will start from Khargone assembly of Khargone district and conclude at Sonkutch assembly of Dewas district. In-charge of this journey is former state president Kantilal Bhuria. Co-incharges are Sajjan Verma, Umang Singhar, Rajnarayan Singh Purani, Jhuma Solanki, Mukesh Patel, Bala Bachchan, Vijayalakshmi Sadho, Ravi Joshi and Sachin Yadav.

Yatra no. 7: This yatra will complete the journey of 1600 km in 14 days on 36 assembly seats. In-charge of this journey is former minister Jitu Patwari. This yatra will start from Mandsaur assembly seat of Mandsaur district and end at Shujalpur assembly seat of Shajapur district. The co-in-charges of this yatra are Priyavrat Singh, Vipin Wankhede, Mukesh Parmar, Dilip Gurjar, Narendra Nahata, Vishal Patel and Kunal Chaudhary.
